Ma and Pa looking like victims of a pyramid scheme.
Shortly after this picture was taken, Ma started losing weight due to a new approach to eating sent to her by oom Jannie. She is now thinner than she has been in over two years, and I am fatter than I have ever been. I will try to borrow a camera for Christmas day to take a better picture of Ma and Pa!
Ma is going to visit Anton and Liezel in Australia in March.
Oh, and Ma and Pa fiiiiiiinally have an Internet connection, although Pa won't let Ma send e-mail often, he thinks it is vastly expensive.
I have been feeling very overworked and so I am going on holiday to an island in Southeast Asia in February. It is a place I have never heard of before, and that suits me down to the ground! An Internet buddy of mine whom I have known for some time but have never met in "real life" decided that it sounded like fun and so she will meet me there. Mikhailo said, "You have never met her before... what if you discover that she is really a man?" I told her what he had said and she said, "Tell him my husband would also be very upset if he discovered that I was really a man!" |
