| I picked up my friend Carol for breakfast at the Waterfront. Her family are never keen on having her around, least of all around Christmas time. Our religious ideas are quite similar, and neither of us is wild about celebrating this mythological introduction to Christianity; however, at this time of year when people are surrounded by all sorts of emotional cultural expectations, it's no fun being part of a dysfunctional family anyway.
Carol made me the bracelets in the picture (some of the beads are pips) and the heart-shaped box in which she gave them to me.
The boat scenes actually include seals, but for some reason they don't show properly on these pictures. The seals were cruising near the boats with their flippers in the air. (I don't know how they manage to do that!)
