An Old Kingswoodian message

And I thought I didn't know anyone in Malaysia! Until I got a letter from Kim Yates (now Kim Williams), our headgirl of twenty years ago – meine Güte, that's how long it is since I wrote Matric! She said there will be a class reunion in Julyat the time of the Kingswood/St. Andrews rugby match. That will be fun; I never cared about watching any other teams play, except for Kingswood. I don't even know who the captain of the South African rugby team is. (No, I am not kidding).

Ma might not be back from England yet; if she is, I hope she will come along on the trip, and then we can visit Una together. I would like Mikhailo to come too, if we can get someone to look after the house.

Oh, the coat of arms... yeah, yeah, I know it's all wrong, but I got some heraldry clipart recently, and I couldn't resist making up my own variation on the theme. Mike Oettle, a heraldry expert from Port Elizabeth, has been giving me advice for a coat of arms for the Academy of Business Evolution and Leadership (ABEL) which Marius, Johan Visser and I have started, and Mike would gril verskriklik if he saw what I have done here, haha! As far as I know, the little white spots are actually supposed to be scallops, taken from John Wesley's family coat of arms... and of course there are a lot of other liberally interpreted symbols!
